Alkinois is a multi-faceted arts space set in a former furniture factory in the Athens neighbourhood of Ano Petralona between the Acropolis and Piraeus. Since founding it in 2019, curator Alix Janta-Polczynski has programmed exhibitions, residencies, performances and happenings that bring together an international artistic community in the spirit of gathering and exchange. Local collaborators and guest curators are regularly invited, with a view to collectively contributing to the conversation within its walls.
